Understanding Limitations
Learn about the limitations of our signal analysis and how to use it effectively despite these constraints.
Important to Understand
Our signals produce Confirm and Contradict reads on every match. No system wins every bet, and our published record shows where each tier loses — understanding these limits helps you use the tools well.
Key Limitations
Example
Even with a 65% predicted win probability, the underdog still wins 35% of the time. No system beats variance in the short run.
Example
A player with a 70% signal probability can easily lose a best-of-5 match in 3 straight sets — short format means small samples.
Example
TT Cup uses K4 round-robin. Players meet again in the same session — the player who lost round 1 wins the rematch ~50% of the time.
Example
If you see a TT Cup match without a Pick Quality badge, that's intentional — the format makes reliable predictions very difficult.
Example
A new player with only 5 recorded matches will have a less reliable prediction than a veteran with 200 matches in our database.
Example
Odds analyzed at match publication may be 2.00, but by the time you bet, they could be 1.75 due to sharp money moving the line.
How to Use Predictions Effectively
Use as One Factor
Don't rely solely on signal analysis. Combine it with your own research, player news, and situational analysis.
Consider Pick Quality Tiers
Pay attention to the Confirm and Contradict tiers and each one's public track record — not every tier is profitable, and we show you which.
Manage Risk
Never bet more than you can afford to lose. Use bankroll management principles and the Kelly Calculator to size bets appropriately.
Think Long-Term
Focus on long-term signal performance, not individual match results. Confirm and Contradict reads still lose individual bets — that's expected variance, not a broken system.
Accuracy Context
Our accuracy is measured across 900+ matches per day across 6 active leagues. Here's what the numbers mean in practice:
- • Overall (all matches): accuracy varies by market and league conditions
- • Contradict tier: the signal system disagrees with the market — a value/underdog play, high-variance by nature; check the public record
- • Confirm tier: the signal system agrees with the market favorite — our highest-conviction signal read
- • TT Cup: excluded from Pick Quality tiers due to K4 round-robin format
- • Accuracy varies by league — Setka Cup and Czech Liga perform best in our record
- • Short-term results can deviate significantly from long-term accuracy averages
Realistic Expectation
Sticking to higher-confidence Confirm reads gives you a curated selection of matches each day rather than betting everything. Quality over quantity — and always check the public record.
What We're Working On
We're continuously improving our signal system. Current focus areas include:
- • Expanding data sources and historical coverage
- • Discovering new signal patterns per league
- • Adding more markets and signal coverage
- • Real-time odds tracking and value bet alerts
- • Better League Portrait resolution for rare matchups
