Best-of-five to 11 points keeps every match short and swingy. In our TT Elite data, 3-1 is the single most common scoreline — more common than 3-0 — which tells you how rarely even the better player cruises. Deciding fifth sets are routine, and a two-set lead is far from safe.

Because the same regulars meet over and over, head-to-head samples here are unusually rich — but that cuts both ways: bookmakers know these players just as well, so soft prices are rare and disappear quickly. Expect efficient favorites and small, short-lived mispricings rather than obvious gifts.

Multiple matches per player per day make fatigue a real factor, and long sessions produce visible form swings within a single day. A strong morning tells you little about the evening. Judge players on their 10- and 20-match windows, not on the last match you watched.
